Kay M. Vickery

Kay Gwendalynn Vickery, age 68 of Spalding County passed away on September 29, 2019.

Kay was born in Spalding County on August 19, 1951 to the late James O. Madaris and the late Marie Doris Folds Madaris. She was preceded in death by her brother Jesse Steve Ogeltree. She was retired from Griffin Spalding County School system as a bus driver. Kay also for several years was committed to helping in the kitchen at Mt Zion Campground during camp meeting.

Mrs. Vickery is survived by her husband, James Morrison; children, Tonya Vickery and Kenneth Charles Vickery Jr. (Chuck); grandchildren, Kristy and Justin Lewis and Kayla Denham; three great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Lacy McPherson, Ginger and Charles Beckham; Aunt Mary and Uncle Ray Brown; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation for Mrs. Vickery will be Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
