Kenneth Greene Manley, Sr.

Kenneth Greene Manley, Sr., age 70 of Hiawassee, Georgia formerly of Griffin, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018.  

Kenneth was born in Pike County, Georgia on Monday, October 13, 1947 to the late Joseph P. Manley and the late Virginia Greene Manley.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Joe Manley, III.  He was a 1965 graduate of Griffin High School and a veteran of the Georgia National Guard Jackson Rifles. He retired from BellSouth Telephone Company as a Cable Splicer after 34 years of employment. He is a member of Union Baptist Church.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Brenda Marshall Johnson; sons, Ken Manley and Donna Kent, Tim Manley and wife Rhonda; stepchildren, Ceason and Shawn Hall, Jada and Randy Sears, Brady and Angela Johnson; grandchildren, Nicholas Manley, Ashton Manley, Burkely Hall, Brinnly Hall, Lincoln Sears, Beckett Sears, Landen Johnson, Asher Johnson, and Tobin Johnson; brother, Milton Manley and Margaret; sister in law, Sandra Manley; uncle, David Greene; nephews, Chris Manley and Jeff Manley and families.

A visitation for Mr. Kenneth Greene Manley, Sr. will be Monday, September 17, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Gordon Tippins and Reverend Rick Foster will officiate. Interment will follow in the Manley Family Cemetery.
