Kenneth Bryant Williams, age 51, passed away January 9, 2021 at his home in Cumming, Georgia after a lengthy illness.

Ken was a native of Griffin, Georgia after having been born in Goldsboro, North Carolina on November 14, 1969. He is preceded in death by his father, William H. (Bill) Williams; grandparents, Irene and Otis Williams, Martha and Albert Donald, and uncles, Bryant Williams and Larry Donald.

Ken was a graduate of Griffin High School, Gordon College, the University of Georgia, and Georgia State University, receiving a Master’s Degree of Accountancy in Tax and Financial Planning. He was quite the Bulldawg Fan and he and his friends could be found at almost every home (and even some “away”) football games.

Scouting was very important to Ken. He earned every badge possible as he was growing up and the “gave back” as he earned his Eagle Scout Award and later the Order of the Arrow Award, one of the highest awards bestowed on a Scout.

Ken began his career as a CPA with Mauldin and Jenkins in Augusta, Georgia, returning from there to Atlanta to take a position with Ernst and Young. Ken was CFO for Inovis USA, Inc. for over 7 years, an Advisor for Berke Group for more than a year, worked with VP Strategic Projects, and was CFO for Defense Storm for more than 2 years, retiring due to health issues.

Survivors include his mother, Lawanna G. Williams of Cumming, Georgia; aunt and uncle, Pat and Jim Wilkerson of Griffin, Georgia; aunt Gwen Donald of Griffin, Georgia; cousins, Danielle and Brian Smith and their children, Lydia and Anna Kate; David Wilkerson; Dawn and Brandon Vaughn and their children, Hank, Hattie and Harper; Diana and Anthony Davidson and their children, Anthony, Ethan and Chloe; Beverly Jones and son, Jared; Susan Kane; Stacey and Vance Wilson and Brandi; Brian Donald; Bailee Donald; special friends, Patrick and April Duffey and Kelly Reece; his special fur baby, Reagan.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Followed a funeral service in the chapel. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Mask are requested and social distancing will be practiced. Flowers will be accepted but those desiring may make a contribution to the American Heart Association.
