Mr. Kenneth Ray Nolan, 83, of Griffin, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Eternal Hope Hospice.
Mr. Nolan was born in Griffin, Georgia on January 24, 1937. He was preceded in death by his parents Glover and Blondene Nolan of Griffin, Ga. He was a devoted husband of 50 years to Earline Nolan who passed away in 2009. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War and received The Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Army of Occupation Medal (Germany). For more than 40 years Kenneth owned and operated the Shell Service Station. Mr. Nolan was a longtime member of Hanleiter United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Andrea Griffin; granddaughter, Kylie Griffin; grandson, Benjamin Griffin; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Wayne McKneely; brother and sister-in-law, Guyles and Judy Nolan; brother-in-law, Kermit Anderson; sister-in-law, Joan Nolan, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Don Steele; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Hazel Anderson, and brothers Leon Nolan and Charles Nolan.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Followed by a graveside service in Oak Hill Cemetery Section D-6.
