Mr. Larry E. Campbell, age 70 of Griffin, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Heritage Inn Nursing Home in Barnesville.
Larry was born in Griffin, Georgia on February 10, 1949. He is preceded in death by his parents, William M. Campbell, Sr. and Clydie Temple Campbell; brother, William M. Campbell, Jr. He had over 25 years of service combined with the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Zebulon Police Department. He retired from the Spalding County Correctional Institute where he served as a Counselor. Larry loved camping, guns and flying single engine planes.
Survivors include his children, Megan Bell and husband Nick, Paige Hill and husband Caleb, Amy Echols and husband Wesley, Christopher Campbell and wife Jody; grandchildren, Brayden Griffis, Matti Hill, Carter Hill, Wilkes Hill, Rachel Campbell, Julie Campbell, Chase Echols, Kaitlyn Echols.
A visitation for Mr. Larry E. Campbell will be Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
