Lee Echols

Robert Lee Echols age 36 of Griffin passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at WellStar Spalding Hospital.

Lee was born in Griffin on September 24, 1982. He is preceded in death by his sister, Tiffany Michelle Echols. He was a member of Hanleiter United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Desiree Echols; his parents, Earl and Carroll Whitfield Echols; siblings, Beth and Alan Evans, Wesley  and Amy Echols, Wanda and Randy Ham, Candace and Greg Peek, Mary and Jason Burchfield, Shirlene and Roy Baker, Cindy and Bruce Melton, Kayla Doyle, Emma Echols, Austin Echols, Johnny Echols, Nigel Echols, Nedra and Stevie Knowlin, Jessica and Jason Tuten, Sammy Singley; special family members, Kaeleigh Everson-Lawler and Abbygail Echols, Charles Beecher and family; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Lee Echols will be Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Hanleiter United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm at Hanleiter United Methodist Church. Reverend Michael Johns and Reverend Wade Corley will officiate.
