Lena Bell Hudgins

Lena Bell Briscoe Hudgins, age 79 of Jackson passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family.
 
Lena was born in Griffin, Georgia, April 13, 1939. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hewil Crawford Briscoe and Susie Bell Briscoe, her son, David Lee Hudgins; sisters Louise White, Mildred Rooks, Betty Peeples, Mattie Smith, Mary Virginia Briscoe; brothers, Hewil Thomas Briscoe, Calvin Briscoe. She was retired from William Carter Co. and a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God. Her favorite saying was She Lived, She Loved and She Died.
 
Survivors include by her sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Pam Hudgins, Dennis and Marnie Hudgins, Daniel and Sharon Hudgins, sisters, Rosie Lewis and Faye Caldwell, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, best friend, Jeanette Mann, many nieces and nephews.
 
A visitation for Lena Hudgins will be Friday, July 6, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.  Following the visitation, a funeral service will be in the Chapel. Pastor Jeffery Shelton will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
