Jimmy Ogletree

 
Mr. Leonard Glenn “Jimmy” Ogletree age 76, of Griffin passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Mr. Ogletree was born in Griffin, Georgia on August 4, 1942. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Glenn Ogletree, Sr., Mary Pitts Martin and Troy Martin; a son, Leonard Glenn Ogletree, III. Mr. Ogletree had served his country in the Marines Corps and was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Army. He loved to fish and had developed a great skill in art painting. He was a member of Griffin First Assembly of God.

He is survived by his wife, Ozzie Jackson Ogletree; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Greg Nash; granddaughters, Amber Jones and husband Justin, Carly Nash, Mary Margaret Nash; great granddaughters, Madison Jones, Paisley Jones; grandsons, Eric Ogletree, Taylor Wynne; sister, Harriet Baker and husband Michael; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Leonard Glenn “Jimmy” Ogletree will be on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Griffin First Assembly of God.
