Lisa was born on January 20, 1966 in East Point, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Everette Brock, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Isaac N. Porter, Jennifer Annette Brock Porter; her mother, Annette D. Brock; brothers, Bart Brock and Clay Brock.
