Mr. Lorenza Killingsworth, age 89 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Killingsworth was born in Spalding County on January 29, 1931. He is preceded in death by parents, John Killingsworth and Lillie Killingsworth. He was a retired Air Force Veteran having served his country during World War II, the Korean War and also Vietnam. He loved Georgia Tech football and reading Tom Clancy novels.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Johnson Killingsworth; daughters, Paula Boatwright of Arkansas, Karen Owen and husband Buddie of Arkansas; son, Allen Blackwell and wife Trish of Barnesville; grandchildren, Crystal, Matthew, Benjamin, Mary, Katie, Rissa, Stephen, John, David; six great grandchildren; and a special great grandchild, Ellis Owen.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A Funeral service will follow in the Chapel with Reverend Charles Killingsworth officiating.
