Lucile C. Steger

Mrs. Lucile Calvert Steger, age 89 of Griffin, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.

Mrs. Steger was born on November 15, 1929 in Zebulon, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Huston Calvert and Cora Hatchett Calvert; her husband Murray Hill Steger. She was from Jayco Mills, was a member of Griffin First Assembly.

Survivors include her children, Keith Steger and wife Sharon, Frank Steger and wife Denise; grandchildren, Jeremy Steger and wife Melissa, Jennifer Steger and Larry Polette, Jr., Jesse Steger and wife Kimberly, Maggie Summerall and husband Josh, Katie Burge and husband Blake; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Linda Joy.

A visitation for Lucile Steger will be Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Interment will follow in Zebulon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Mike Freeman will officiate.
