Mrs. Lynn Benson, age 72, of Griffin passed away, Saturday, October 10, 2020 at WellStar Spalding Hospital.

Mrs. Benson was born in Fairburn, Georgia on March 22, 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence “Bud” and Virginia Johnson, sister, Susan Wheeler, and a brother, Tommy “Bo” Johnson. She was retired from Griffin Spalding County Hospital. Mrs. Benson loved playing bingo, reading and adored her cats.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Curtis Benson; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Andrea Benson; daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Mickey Muthama; grandchildren, Shelby Benson, Savannah Benson, Jackson Benson, Kenya Muthama; great grandson, Elijah Williams; sister, Miriam Jones

Visitation for Mrs. Lynn Benson will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. No formal service will be held.
