Mr. Marc Peterson, age 59 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his residence under hospice care after a brief struggle with ALS.

Mr. Peterson was born in Mansfield, Ohio and was a native of Cambridge, Ohio before moving to Griffin. He attended Voice To The Nations Church in Griffin until recent years and was a tax manager at Imerys Clays, Inc., Roswell, Georgia. Mr. Peterson is preceded in death by his parents David K. and Doris E. Peterson.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Alice Pike Peterson; step-daughter Selena (Jasen) Wyrembelski; two step-grandchildren that he loved as his own; Jasyn and Lexie Wyrembeski. Mr. Peterson was the sixth born of eight children and is survived by his siblings; Janice Peterson of Columbus, OH, Michael (Carol Lesher) Peterson of Solvang, CA, Marsha McGee (Dave) Wesley of Chapel, FL, Lois (Art) Sanders of Columbus, OH, Linda (Neil) Mastenbrook of Columbus, OH, Fred Peterson of Littleton, CO and Sandy (Joseph) Melton of Hogansville, Georgia.

A visitation for Mr. Marc Peterson will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Matt Nichols will officiate. A private interment will be held.
