Margaret Mary Cahue

Margaret Mary Cahue, age 86, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021.

Margaret was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 13, 1934. She is preceded in death by her parents, Refugio Anguiano Cahue and Basilio Cahue, daughter, Ruth Ann Varela; brothers, John Cahue and Andrew Cahue; and sister, Esperanza Cahue.

She is survived by her children, Fernando Varela, Alfred Varela (Rosalva), Mary Margaret Leathermon (David), John Varela (Amanda), Andrew Varela (Kim), David Varela (Ana), Gabriel Varela (April), Victor Varela (Beth), Jesus Varela, Connie Wade (Joe); sisters, Guadalupe Vargas and Lulu Rodriguez; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother and was always willing to help people in need.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. A service will follow in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home with Reverend Gordon Tippins officiating. Interment will be at Westwood Gardens Cemetery.
