Maria Tagalos Ramsaier- Kirk

Mrs. Maria “Mary” Tagalos Ramsaier-Kirk, age 65, of Brooks, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023.
Mary was born in Great Lakes, Illinois on November 14, 1957. Her father, George Tagalos; and first husband, Eddie Ramsaier preceded her in death. Mary devoted her life to God and family, and she was  passionate about feeding children in the state of Georgia and teaching her students. She taught and worked in leadership positions in school nutrition programs in Clayton and Spalding County following another 10 years at the Georgia Department of Education. Mary was the picture definition of hospitality. She welcomed so many to her house with wonderful food, care, and love. Mary's strong faith, contagious laugh and beautiful smile made every person she met feel special. 
Survivors include her husband, Terry Kirk; daughters, Ali Ramsaier, Gabriella Ramsaier, Mary Ramsaier Jr.; step-children, Zach (Corrie) Kirk, Josh (Katy) Kirk, Bekah (Corey) Sewall; grandchildren, Reagan, Piper Grace, Asher, Hayes, Theo, Van, Wells, and Elinor; mother, Alexandra Tagalos; brother, Frank Tagalos; sisters, Dina Tagalos, Eleni (Scott) Lloyd, and Christina Kelly.
A visitation will be on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, 2500 Clairmont Rd, Atlanta, GA 30329. Father George Tsahakis will officiate; burial will follow in Brooks Memorial Gardens.
Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Road, Griffin, is in charge of the arrangements.
