Marjorie Garrett

Mrs. Marjorie F. Garrett, age 79, of Griffin, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at WellStar Spalding Hospital.

Mrs. Garrett was born in Dallas, Georgia on August 17, 1938. Her parents, Johnny and Eunice Gunter Furr, and her husband, James Garrett, sisters, Mary Oliver, Sandra Lyda, brother, Lamar Long precede Marjorie in death. Mrs. Garrett was a member of Griffin First Assembly.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Harkins and husband Kendall, Holley Bernardez and husband Tim; grandchildren, Heather Whitton and husband Garry, Ryan Bernardez and wife Katie, Emma Bernardez, Lauren Startup and husband Drew, Kayla Harkins, Clint Harkins; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Annette Smith and husband Stan; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Marjorie Garrett will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 10:00 am until 10:30 am at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Follow the visitation a funeral service will be in the chapel. Pastor Mike Freeman will officiate. Interment will be in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia at 1:00 pm.
