Marjorie Taylor

Mrs. Margie Taylor, age 100 of Griffin, passed away Monday, June 4, 2019 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.

Mrs. Taylor was born on September 19, 1917 in Griffin, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack C. Taylor, Sr.; parents, Grover Cleveland Goodson and Ruby May Goodson; daughter, Pat Gatlin; brother, Terrell Goodson and sister, Jean Cantrell. Mrs. Taylor retired from American Mills.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Glenda Young of Stockbridge; Jack C. Taylor, Jr. of Griffin; grandson, Eric (Kelly) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Macie Taylor, Mallory O’Kelly and Dylon O’Kelly.

A visitation for Mrs. Taylor will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 10 am until 11 am at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. S. Ed Hoard will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
