Mark Stephen Barry, age 54 of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.
Mark was born on March 5, 1965 in Boston, Massachusetts. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Barry and Edy S. Barry. Mark was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Desert Storm. He was formerly employed by the Spalding County Fire Department, City of Griffin Fire Department, City of Griffin Police Department, Lamar County Sheriff’s Department and Charter Communications. Mark was a member of Christ Chapel in Zebulon.
He is survived by his children, Tim Barry and significant other Keishla Suazo-Padilla, Evan Barry and significant other Ashley Wilson, Kimberly Holbrook; granddaughter, Cooper Ann Barry; brother, Dan Barry and wife Julie; nephew, Jake Barry; niece, Katie Barry; his Fiancé, Monica Berry and her family, Dylan Driskill, Autumn Roberts, Katerah Driskill, Cody Berry, Sonjia Berry and Nola Berry.
A visitation will be Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to a charity of your choice that will benefit Law Enforcement and Fire Fighters.
