Mark Cook

Mark Edward Cook, 61, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Mark was born on July 2, 1960 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His mother, Johnnie Dyke Cook, and father, Jackie Cook, brother, Greg Cook and baby sister, Tracy preceded him in death. Mark was a former member of the Georgia National Guard, and most recently employed at Cook Lock and Alarm. He was a member of Rock Springs Church.
   
He is survived by his wife, Linda Beckham Cook; brother, John Cook (Cindy); sister in-law, Judy Harris (Donnie); nieces and nephews, Mark (Chanda), Ashley (Ben), Jennifer, Rhett, Will (Hayley); great nieces and great nephews, Kenny, Brandi, Emma Grace, Ana, Harris, Izzy, Ila, Dansby, Adelynn; several aunts and cousins.
   
A visitation for Mark Cook will be on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service in the Chapel officiated by Dr. Benny Tate and Pastor Mark Harris. Interment will be at Teamon Baptist Church Cemetery, Griffin ( now known as Eagle’s Landing Cemetery).
