On Friday, November 13, 2020, Marsha Darlene Smith, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 68.

Marsha was born on October 25, 1952 in Tampa, Florida to Herbert and Mamie Money. She married the love of her life, Phillip Smith, on February 7, 1969 and had their daughter, Maria Lawrence, that same year. Throughout life, she radiated kindness and brought happiness to everyone around her. She was an amazing person with an infectious smile that could light up a room. She was at her happiest when surrounded by those she loved and always had a compassionate spirit towards anyone she met.

Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Herbert, her mother, Mamie, her brothers, Danny and Stanley, and her sister, Penny. She is survived by her husband Phillip, her daughter, Maria and son-in-law, Wade, her grandson, Brandon, her sister, Linda and brother-in-law, Roy Moss, her sister Donna and brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith, and her sister-in-law, Jenny Money. She is survived, through her husband, by her sister-in-laws, Paula, Tina, Linda, Diane, her brother-in-laws, Steve and Doug, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Out of respect for the family, no funeral service will held. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Eternal Hope Hospice at 123 N. 18th St, Griffin, Georgia 30223.
