Mrs. Martha Cobb “Tootsie” Huckaby age 81 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at WellStar Spalding Hospital.
Mrs. Huckaby was born June 25, 1937 in Griffin, Georgia. Mrs. Huckaby was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Irma Cobb, her husband, James Richard “PawPaw” Huckaby. She was a member of Hanleiter United Methodist Church, the UMW of the church and Widow’s Might.
Survivors include her daughter and sons-in-law, Donna and Ron Bishop, Julie and Chip Carlyle; grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Keith Bradford, Randi and her husband D.J. Ahlstrom, Christy Bishop, Dayton Carlyle and his fiancée Amber Carver, Dakota Carlyle; great grandchildren, Jacob and his wife Janielle Bradford, Cameron Bradford, Aleigha Ahlstrom; great-great grandchild, Mason Bradford; sister, Betty McCart; several nieces, nephews and extended family the ladies of the UMW at Hanleiter United Methodist Church.
A visitation for Mrs. Martha Cobb “Tootsie” Huckaby will be Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Michael Johns and Reverend Herb Flanders will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
