Mrs. Martha Jean Jones, age 83 of Griffin passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Heritage Inn of Barnesville.

Mrs. Jones was born in Milner, Georgia on February 1, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Georgia Harper Goen.

Survivors include her husband Maurice Winston Jones; son Chris Jones; sister’s Joanne Bowles, Grace Stubbs and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Rock Springs Church Cemetery, Milner, Georgia. Chaplain Douglas Welch will officiate.

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Rd, Griffin is in charge of arrangements.
