Martha Jane McLemore Tyson, age 70 of Griffin passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Wellstar Spalding Hospital.

Martha was born on February 24, 1948 in Rochelle, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson McLemore and Arclean Lane McLemore; brothers, Robert McLemore and Jerry McLemore. Mrs. Tyson loved to read the bible, loved rivers and taking walks in the park.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Tyson; daughters, Joy Tyson Tucker and husband Richard, Alice Jane Polk; son, Johnny Polk, Jr.; sisters, Gloria Armstrong and Linda McLemore.

Mrs. Tysons wishes were to be cremated and no services will be scheduled at this time.

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Rd, Griffin is in charge of arrangements.
