Marvin C. Tackett

Mr. Marvin C. Tackett, age 79 of Peachtree City, Georgia, formerly of Griffin passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
Mr. Tackett was born in McDowell, Kentucky on March 28, 1940. He is preceded in death by parents, Claudia Tackett and Clara Caudill Tackett. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He retired from Bandag; was a member of the Kiwanis Club, and an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife Carol B. Tackett; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Chris Yother; son, Scott Tackett; grandchildren, Casandra Dyal and husband, Jeremy; Danielle Childress and husband, Evan, Erin Tackett, Jance Tackett; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
