Mary Ellen Farlow

Mrs. Mary Ellen Farlow, age 89 of Griffin, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at Heritage Inn of Barnesville, Georgia.

Mrs. Farlow was born in Tifton, Georgia on Thursday, April 18, 1929. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Allen and Jewel Braswell Allen; her husband, Jerry Farlow, Sr.; daughters, Betty Farlow Smith Schmitt and Mary Alice Farlow; son, James Edward “Pee Wee” Farlow; brothers, Jesse Allen and Thomas Allen; sister, Ruby Smith; grandson in-law, Randy Hutcheson . She was a member of Living Waters Church, retired from Spalding Knitting Mills. She loved her Church and her Family.

Survivors include her daughter, Jewel Ellen Farlow Evans and Charles; son, Jerry Edgar Farlow, Jr. and Mary; grandchildren, Tammy Hutcheson, Christy Harris and Allen, Jeff Smith and Melissa, Brian Smith and Jaime, Brandy Farlow, Jason Farlow, Kevin Farlow; great grandchildren, Zach Hutcheson, John Charles Hutcheson, Tanner Harris, Colby Harris, Hannah Smith, Lorelai Smith, Riley Farlow; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mrs. Mary Ellen Farlow will be Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at Living Waters Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be at the Church. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Reverend Don Sansbury and Pastor Lewis James will officiate.
