Mrs. Mary Frances Johnson, age 90, of Griffin, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Johnson was born January 3, 1928 to Tom Maddox and Cora Turner Maddox. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Elzy Sherman Johnson. She was formerly employed by The William Carter Company.

She is survived by her children, Shirley Roberts, Brenda Fields, Ferley Johnson, Glenda Conner, Van Johnson, Sue Durham; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, several great great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 3 sisters; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mary Frances Johnson will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Bishop Damien Wright will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
