Mary L. Nichols

Mrs. Mary Jacqulyn Lee Nichols, age 80 of Griffin passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

Mrs. Nichols was born on March 20, 1939 in Griffin, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Tillman Lee and Vera Inez Hubbard Lee; her husband Jerry Donald Nichols.
She retired from American Mills with 40 years of service, after retirement she continued to work in the American Mills Outlet Store for several years. She loved travelling, camping, spending time with her family and her special dog Nicky. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Brooks, Georgia.


Survivors include her son, Terry D. Nichols and wife Paige; daughter Crystal Pilkey and husband Donald; grandchildren, Austin Nichols and wife Tonya, Jordan Nichols and wife Oasis, Christopher Pilkey, Donielle Pilkey, Chase Pilkey; great-grandchildren, Jacob Nichols, Brittany Nichols, Carson Pilkey; brother, Harold Lee and wife Jackie; special niece, Debbie Gilmer and Vickie Tarleton; special caregivers, Pam Corona and the Staff of Griffin Manor.

A visitation for Mary L. Nichols will be Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church, 583 Fairview Rd., Brooks, Georgia, with a funeral service following. Interment will follow in Brooks County Line Christian Church Cemetery. Reverend Charles Johnson will officiate.
