Mrs. Mary Jean McPeters, age 95 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
Mrs. McPeters was born in Griffin, Georgia on February 27, 1926. Her parents, Julian and E.C. Adams, husband, Clarence McPeters all preceded her in death. Mrs. McPeters retired from Southern Bell and was a member of First Baptist Church, Griffin.
Survivors include daughter, Doochie Pass; son, Wesley McPeters (Eva); grandchildren, Dee Coombs (Greg), Debbie Chatham, Carrie Kramer, and Mary Evelyn McPeters; several great grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Oak Hill Mausoleum. Pastor Steven Norris will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 1:30 until 2:00. In lieu of flowers, you may make contributions to any charity of your choice.
