Matthew William Smallwood, age 31 of Thomaston, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019.

Matthew was born in Douglas, Georgia on February 2, 1987. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Melvin Smallwood; brothers, Christopher and Stephan Smallwood.

Survivors include his wife, Lauren Nicole Smallwood; son’s, Matthew Brayden, Liam Avery and Carsyn William-Lee Smallwood; mother, Trudy Queen; sister, Barbara (Josh) Caraway; mother-in-law, Wendy (Delmar) Lowe and father-in-law, Phillip (Deloras) Caraway.

Visitation for Matthew William Smallwood will be Friday, February 1, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation a memorial service will be conducted in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Dr. Randy Valimont and Rev. Ron Crum will officiate.
