"Max" Brevard Barrett of Hapeville, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020, at the age of 88. Max was born on Saturday, May 21, 1932, to the late Ralph Barrett, Sr. and the late Cleo Isenhour. He graduated from the University of Western Carolina after serving in the US Army during the Korean War. Max went on to become the City Manager for National Car Rental at Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport for 25 years, where he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jo Barrett.
He is survived by his son, Scott Barrett of Tampa, Florida; daughters, Kimberly Garner of Hapeville, Georgia, Kellie Bennett of Locust Grove, Georgia; three grandchildren, Chad Garner, Chase Garner and Olivia Garner; 5 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
A visitation will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens 10:00 am. A graveside service will follow visitation, Saturday, November 14th 2020, at 11:00 am at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Forest Park, Georgia.
