Melissa Griffin Greene

Mrs. Melissa Griffin Greene, age 68, of Griffin, passed away on August 6, 2019.

Melissa was born in Griffin, Georgia on February 13, 1951. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Frances Wesley Griffin. Melissa was retired from Middle Georgia Mutual Insurance Company; was a lifelong member of County Line United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Greene; children, Aslie Zimmer and husband Robert, Pamela Lance and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Thomas Zimmer, Kara Lance, and Emily Lance; brother, Jerry Griffin and wife, Janie; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Pastor Ed Swehla will officiate. Interment will follow in County Line United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to County Line United Methodist Church, 416 County Line Church Rd., Griffin, GA 30223.
