Melvin Gerard White

Melvin G White, age 85 of Williamson passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022.

Melvin was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 5, 1937. He is preceded in death by his son, Chad White; parents, Leonard Crawford White and Lottie Lord, brother; Wayne White.

Melvin was a proud veteran of the United States Army where he served as a paratrooper. A retired attorney, Melvin was a loving husband, father and grandfather. An excellent caregiver, Melvin enjoyed country cooking and chocolate milkshakes. A world traveler, Melvin visited seven continents and traced his family tree back to England.

Survivors include his wife Carol Austin White; sister, Aileen Lewis (Ed); daughter-in-law, Stephanie White; grandchildren, Garrett Gerard White, Molly Lynn White; great-grandchildren, Laurynn Paisley White, Warren Alan White; sister-in-law, Gale White; several nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
