Michael Dwayne Nichols Sr

Mr. Michael Dwayne Nichols, Sr., age 64 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at his residence.
Michael was born on January 23, 1960, in Griffin, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Nichols and Mary Peppers Nichols, son, Michael Dwayne Nichols, Jr. He was retired from the Griffin Spalding County School system.
Survivors include his wife, Joni Wynette Sheffield Nichols; grandchild, Alexis Nichols; brother, Jimmy Nichols; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon (Tommy) Smith; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury with Reverend Keith Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
