Mickey Thompson

Mickey Lee Thompson age 75, of Griffin passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at his residence.

Mickey was born in Jackson, Georgia on July 8, 1947. His parents, Howell Olin Thompson and Nana Bell Baker Thompson; his wife, Kathleen Thompson, sister, Dorothy Thompson Harper, brother, Tommy Olin Thompson all preceded him in death. Mickey was retired from Jacksonville Police Department. He was a member of Griffin Moose Lodge, a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include, sons, Michael Shane Thompson, Mickey Lee Thompson, II; brother, Sam Chesser and wife, Sammie; sister, Martha Thompson Mills and husband, Marvin; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, October 14, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Followed by a service in the chapel. Pastor Gene Luke will officiate.
