Mike Weaver

Michael Thomas Weaver age 68, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022.

Mike was born in Rome, Georgia on January 28, 1954. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Weaver; brother, Ray Weaver; sister, Faye Stevens; nephews, Tim Weaver and Justin Redden.

Mike was the owner and operator of Mike’s Wrecker Service in Griffin. He has served Spalding and surrounding counties since 1985. Mike loved anything to do with drag racing, classic cars, Georgia Bulldogs and wreckers. He had a heart of gold and was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be truly missed by his family, friends and the community.

Survivors include, his long-time love and fiancé, Tami Riggins; daughter, Michelle (Nick) Miller; son, Tyler (Hope) Carden; step-son, Eric (Lanie) Riggins; grandchildren, Nathan Miller, Hali Miller, Tucker Riggins, Cooper Riggins; brother, Sammy (Sandi) Weaver, Mark Weaver; sister, Susan Redden; brother-in-law, Chris McCoy and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Pastor Gene Luke will officiate. Interment will be at Westwood Gardens.
