Myrtice K. Tomlin

Mrs. Myrtice Kimbell Tomlin, age 89, passed away, Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Tomlin was born in Tyrone, Georgia on August 19, 1931. Her parents, Hubert Langston Kimbell and Eva Mae Kimbell, along with her husband, Franklin David Tomlin, children, Dennis Tomlin, Paulette Tomlin, and grandchildren, Kevin Gazaway and Samantha Dix all precede her in death. Mrs. Tomlin was retired from Morrow-Powell Department Store, and was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Hampton.

She is survived by son, David Lewis Tomlin and wife, Patricia; daughters, Patricia Shirline Dix and husband, Richard, Brenda Reed and husband, Les, Beverly Darlene Bostwick and husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Lauren Welburn, Patrick Tomlin, Rodney Tomlin, Todd Pass, Chris Pass, Michael Bostwick; sister, Diane McElroy; 6 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Myrtice K. Tomlin will be Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday, September 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dennis Fowler will officiate. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hampton.
