Myrtle V. Jones

Mrs. Myrtle Varnadoe Jones, age 90 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020.

Mrs. Jones was born in Eastman, Georgia on April 22, 1929. She is preceded in death by parents, Paul A. and Naomi Allen Varnadoe; her husband, Samuel Jones. She was retired from Mouchet Corporation, and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Molly Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Ricky Stinchcomb; grandchildren, Lindsey Jones, Evan Jones, Richie Stinchcomb; sisters, Josie Godard, Carrie Mae Butler; brother, Jeff Varnadoe; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Interment will be in Westwood Gardens. Reverend Jeff Yearwood will officiate.
