Nancy P. Shiflett

Mrs. Nancy “Nana” P. Shiflett, age 74, passed away on August 3, 2019 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Shiflett was born in Griffin, Georgia on September 4, 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Lifsey and Mary McPherson Lifsey; siblings, Jack Lifsey, Mary Ann Lifsey and Mary Frances Lifsey; son-in-law, David Clower, Jr.. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and great-grandmother. Her passion was caring for children and especially those in the church nursery. She was truly a “Nana” to everyone. Nancy was a member of West Sunny Side Community Church.

Survivors include her husband, Reginald Shiflett; children, Cathy Shiflett Clower and Monte Shiflett (Tamatha); grandchildren, Joshua Clower (Kayla), Stephanie Robertson (Wayne), Marlene Pierce, Andrew Pierce and Carson Shiflett; great-grandchildren, Austyn, Eli, Amory, Jessica Fabean (Max), Madison and Israel; great-great-grandchild, Asher; siblings, Carolyn Lifsey and Pat Howard; sister-in-law, Jean Lifsey; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation for Nancy P. Shiflett will be on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 11:00 am at West Sunny Side Community Church in Griffin, Georgia. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to West Sunny Side Playground Project. 1840 Patterson Road Griffin, Georgia 30223.
