Mrs. Nellie Jo Greene Pitts age 76 of Jackson, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Pitts was born on July 14, 1940 in Cleburne Co., Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter J. Greene and Inez Creel Greene; husband, Ronald G. Pitts; brother, Troy Greene; sister-in-law, Jeanelle Greene. Mrs. Pitts was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Keith Jester and wife, Mary Jo and daughter Kaye Quam and husband, Ken; grandchildren, Brandi Kilchriss and husband, Brad, Lyndi Rentz, Danielle Bearden and husband, Graham, Randy Passmore and wife, Samantha, Sara Nemeth and husband, Tim, Adam Quam and wife, Joddi; brother Guy Greene; sister-in-law, Elaine Greene. Mrs. Pitts had several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Nellie Pitts will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Conner Westbury Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to Butts Mutts Animal Shelter at P.O. Box 474, Jackson, Georgia 30233.
