Peggy Joyce Long

Peggy Joyce Long, age 82, of Griffin, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021.
Peggy was born in High Point, North Carolina on August 10, 1938. She is preceded in death by her mother, Vida Lowder; son, Terry Long and 3 sisters. Peggy was married to the love of her life, Bud Long, for 65 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Peggy enjoyed cooking and was a member of Griffin First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bud” Long; son, Scott Long; daughter-in-law, Jean Roten; grandchildren, Holly Fister, Buddy Long.
Visitation will be Monday, May 3, 2021 from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Griffin First United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service at 2:00. Dr. John Maddox will officiate.
