Mrs. Peggy M. Wessel, age 69 of Griffin passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Wessel was born in West Virginia on June 22, 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Allen McDonald. Mrs. Wessel was retired from Bank of America. She loved to play cards and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert “Bob” Wessel.

A visitation for Mrs. Peggy M. Wessel will be on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be conducted in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Mrs. Peggy M. Wessel.
