Rachel Brannon Williams

Rachel Brannon Williams, age 87 of Duluth, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Brightmoor Nursing Center.

Rachel was born in Griffin, Georgia on October 18, 1935 to the late Robert Lee Brannon and Mattie Ruth Fincher Brannon. Her husband, Howell Edward Williams also preceded her in death. Rachel retired as a bookkeeper for J & J Machine shop and enjoyed playing piano, cooking, gardening and visiting her granddaughter in Texas. She was an animal lover and her smile lit up a room and will be missed by those who knew and loved her best.

Survivors include her children, Lynn Williams Talbott (Jeff), Susan Williams Williamson (M. Todd); granddaughter, Julianne Rachel Talbott; sister, Phyllis Bunn and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home followed by a funeral service in the chapel. Dr. Todd Williamson and Tony Jones will officiate; interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
