Randy Allen Clay

Randy Allen Clay, age 68 of Griffin, GA, passed away surrounded by family and friends, Friday, July 22, 2022 at his residence.

Randy was born in Woodbury, Georgia on May 30, 1954. His parents, Charlie Grant Clay and Thelma Davis Clay; sisters Elizabeth Funderburk, Marie James, Shelby Brawner, Connie Funderburk, Geraldine Davis; brothers Richard Clay, Cecil Clay, Calvin Clay, and Joseph Clay all precede him in death.

Randy was a loving father, grandfather and friend who was always willing to help and support anyone in need. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and was always fixing something. The best thing he fixed, according to his family and friends, was his biscuits. Everyone looked forward to them whenever family and friends gathered at his house.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Kendrick Harker; grandson, Matthew Harker; granddaughter, Holly Harker; grandson, Jacob Harker; great grandson, Jackson Harker; brothers, Gary Clay, Grant (Bubba) Clay, Ronnie Clay; sisters, Sara O’Neal, Marion Brown, Christine Wallace, Brenda Kendrick, Margaret Kirby; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, July 25, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home immediately followed by a service in the Chapel officiated by Pastor Gene Luke.

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Road, Griffin, is in charge of the arrangements.
