Rebecca"Becky" Kent

Mrs. Rebecca Heath “Becky” Kent, age 85, of Griffin, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Eternal Hope.

Mrs. Kent was born in February 11, 1933 in Newnan, Georgia. Her parents Samuel and Clara Bell Buckalew Heath preceded her in death. She retired from the City of Griffin with over 22 years of service. Mrs. Kent was a volunteer at Spalding Regional Hospital for many years, and was a longtime and active member of 2nd Baptist Church.

Survivors her husband 64 years, Gene Kent; children, Sammy and Donna Kent, Jerry Kent and Linda Hair, Susan Kent Rohrdanz; one grandson, Garrett M. Kent.

Visitation for Becky Kent will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Dr. David Hill and Dr. S. Ed Hoard will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
