Richard "Dick" Leverette

Richard “Dick” Leverette passed away at his residence on November 23, 2022 at the age of 83.

He was the only son of Reuben Jeff and Grace (Anderson) Leverette. Dick was a lifelong resident of Griffin, Georgia born March 9, 1939. He was a 1957 graduate of Griffin High School, a U.S. Army veteran and a lifelong scholar of the wonders of our universe. Dick was a talented artist, master wood craftsman, fixer of anything broken, and eagle-eyed collector of rarities. He enjoyed science fiction novels, the company of his many life-long friends, a good single malt scotch and driving fast cars.

He leaves behind to cherish his love and memories his wife of 56 years, Ann Raybon Leverette, daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Parish Harvil, and many extended family members.

The family is grateful for the love and support of Eternal Hope Home Hospice and asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his honor to The American Heart Association. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
