Richard Walker

Mr. Richard Walker, age 76, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Richard was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on October 21, 1947. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Bernice Walker and grandson, Jacob Peek. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Richard is survived by his wife, Helen Fowler Walker, and her family including Kevin, Amy, Davis, Max, and Carson Peek, Tim, Leslie, and Sarah Peek, Wendy and John Roberts, and Brian Peek.  He is also survived by his sister, Judy Mather (husband, Bill), brother, David Walker (wife, Neddy), sister-in-law, Janan Leja (husband, John), brother-in-law Robert Fowler (wife, Mindy), and brother-in-law, Howell Fowler (wife, Sue). 

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home 1891 W. McIntosh Road is in charge of arrangements. Per Richard’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
