Mr. Robert Douglas Olson, Sr., age 84 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019.
Mr. Olson was born in Rockford, Illinois on November 7, 1934. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lela Grace Calvert Olson, daughter, Tina Olson, son, James K. Johnson, Sr.; sisters, Cynthia Mund and Rita Chindgern.
Survivors include son, Robert D. Olson, Jr. and wife Tammy; daughters, Ruth Diaz and husband, Juan, Suzanne Cummings and husband, David, Corrina Olson, Diana Plummer, Cherry Olson; sons, William L. Johnson, Raymond Calvert and wife Dee; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Mund, Patricia Brooks and Jerry Higgins.
A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Robert will be Friday, July 5, 2019 at the home of Ruth Diaz, 222 Lakeview Circle (Runaway Lakes), Griffin.
