Roger Dale Cole

Mr. Roger Dale Cole, age 55 of Griffin, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at his residence.

Roger was born in Wilmington, Delaware on May 27, 1964. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Cole. Roger was employed as a Fireman/Paramedic with DeKalb County Fire Department for the past 11 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid Alabama “Roll Tide” fan.

Survivors include his mother, Frances M. McCutcheon; sisters, Diane Roberson and husband Brant, Virginia Dobbies; brothers, Bobby Cole, Michael Cole and wife Kristy, Brian Cole. Roger is also survived by his loyal companion and pet “Chloe.”

A visitation for Roger Dale Cole will be Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to a local Humane Society or the National Kidney Foundation of Georgia (nkfg.org) 2851 Flowers Road South, Atlanta, GA 30341, in memory of Roger.
