Ronald L. Sargent

Ronald Lee Sargent, age 74 of Sharpsburg passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Ronald was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 26, 1946. His parents, William cannon Sargent and Margaret Slaughter Bell preceded him in death. He was retired from Simplex Grinnell.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtis Sargent; son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Melissa Sargent; grandchildren, Austin and Marissa; sister, Lynda Greaves; brother, Bobby, Bill and Mike Sargent; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
