She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim D. Mitchell and Willie Ruth Mitchell; sisters, Nancy Mitchell, Cathy Strickland, JoAnn Mitchell.

She is survived by, brothers, James Mitchell, JD Mitchell; sisters, Linda Babb, Sarah Whitehead; children, Sherry Rodriquez, Shannon Gaines; grandchildren, Anthony Rodriquez; many nieces and nephews.
